1-Hair mask with sodium bicarbonate of soda

The problem: product deposits. Residue can easily build up between hair care and styling products. These deposits can leave hair looking greasy and feeling flattened or even flaky. Remove excess oil and buildup with this “baking soda power cleanse” from Audrey Davis-Sivasothy, Houston trichologist (hair specialist) and author of Hair Care Rehab: The Ultimate Hair Repair and Reconditioning Manual.
Here’s what you need:
- One-half cup shampoo.
- 1-2 tablespoons baking soda.
How to make the mask:
Mix shampoo with baking soda and apply to damp hair. Gently massage the mixture into the scalp and leave on for a few minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
